My sister and me went for a walk through a forest just over the border in Germany. We took a train, left at the first station over the border and walked from there into the forest. The terrain was a little bit ruff, with small hills or dunes. We ended up at a steep abyss. We walked further until there was a possibility to go down. At the bottom we found a typical Dutch wooden bench with a typical Dutch yellow garbage can. We had crossed the border. From there the terrain was flat. Apparently the Dutch had leveled their country all the way up to the border. Climbing difficult tracks we might have entered and left Germany a few more times, but I do not recognize those as border crossings. |
